It's amazing how some of you equate going abroad and getting a good education with having rich parents that embezzled money and destroyed Nigeria. No doubt the country is in a bad state and it's mainly due to a domino effect; when leaders are elected and a tiny part of them want to do some good, they are surrounded by 'hungry' folks who've been waiting for their chance to provide for their families and it gets harder to get things right.

I know majority of the blame is from the top but honestly, which country either civilized or 'third world' doesn't have corrupt leaders? Difference with Nigeria and even Africa is the fact that they are not subtle about their ways.

I came abroad not in the easiest of circumstances and due to blessings from God cos my folks were not rich but since i've been here, i have had to work double hard to prove myself with the hope that I will go home and help with the improvement of my birth nation.

You attack Babaalaye like he's some sort of criminal, some of his blogs have actually talked about making a change and you can't blame him if he lives a good life; i'm sure most of you aspire to have that life too so stop hating and start making changes no matter how little, in your own circle.
